MEASUREMENT OF LIGHT

UV LABORATORY AND PHOTOMETRY LAB

Our customers are consulted and supported intensively in the field of optical metrology. Our extensive experience in this sector is our basis for running custom and contract measurements as well as calibrations. These are customized to individual demands and traceable to national and international standards. Our measurements are often the basis for scientific evaluations and they are used for precise optical simulations. Therefore, in our calibration laboratory, for example, we use UV-VIS-double monochromators, spectral radiometers, luminance cameras, and several calibration lamps.

We carry out all measurements traceably, precisely, in accordance with international standards and with the utmost care. Example:

The DIN 19294-1:2020-8 standard not only specifies the requirements for devices for UV drinking water disinfection and their DVGW sensors for UV drinking water disinfection systems, but also defines precise specifications for their calibration. The calibration of DVGW sensors is crucial to ensure precise measurement and control of the UV radiation required for UV disinfection of drinking water. Regular calibrations in accordance with the standard specifications of DIN 19294-1:2020-8 / DIN 19294-4:2020-8 ensure the accuracy of the sensors, which in turn ensures reliable monitoring and control and thus effective and safe drinking water disinfection.

IN OUR UV LABORATORY MEASUREMENTS AND FACTORY CALIBRATIONS ARE AVAILABLE:

  • Calibration, traceable to national standards with manufacturers certficates of calibration
  • Calibrations of dosimeters and devices of type UV integrator to irradiation dose
  • Calibration of DVGW sensors for drinking water disinfection in accordance with DIN 19294-1:2020-8 / DIN 19294-4:2020-8 / W294-3
